Conservation Photography Workshop
An Introduction to your DSLR & Storytelling

Sunday, October 16th from 1pm - 4pm
In the first hour, we will touch on basic features of the DSLR camera. Topics will include choosing lenses and filters, ISO, white balance, shutter, aperture and program modes, EV, exposure, bracketing, focusing, resolution, histograms and more. In the second hour, topics will include managing the digital workflow, post production, color management, and simple web publishing. In the final hour of the workshop, we will talk about what it means to be a conservation photographer and watch a short video that defines conservation photography.

What To Bring: Feel free to bring your DSLR should you wish to follow along during the presentation. We will meet at the Business Reception Desk at the backdoor of the Academy at 12:45pm.
